All students on a Study visa from our Institution need to be FULL TIME students, i.e. the course needs to be for 5 days per week. Each student is required to have medical insurance and this information should be given to us. The visa regulations are strict and all students should comply with the payment and attendance of the courses, as per the study visa that may be granted. Students should supply the names and contact details of the next of kin and those enrolling a student need to take responsibility for the student’s attendance and payments. Students should report to the office any absence from studies, travels or reason for non-attendance.
We have a list of Safety and Security recommendations for our students, please remember to collect a list. Once a student starts the course, there will be NO REFUNDS. Textbooks are available at R50 for a student book and R30 for a workbook. All Students should bring their own Dictionary and homework book plus pen/pencils. Students may request a certificate at the end of their course, stating their period of study and the level they achieved.
Regulations regarding visas are changing constantly. The application period is now 60 days before expiry of current visa. A person cannot change from a visitor’s visa to another type of visa. Any change of conditions must be at an Embassy or Consulate in your home country. Visa applications, changes or extensions are difficult, expensive and very time-consuming. There are some agents that will do this on your behalf, for a fee.
R 1 700 per week. Accommodation with a local family. Breakfast, Dinner and airport pick-up included.
If you need to book Homestay through the school, the fees need to be paid up front and the minimum stay is 4 weeks. This is non-refundable. Please be sure about this booking. The other option is to book your own accommodation and provide this to the Embassy.
